Christian Faculty Jobs re-launches with 1056 Faculty and Staff jobs

We are happy to announce the official re-launch of Christian Faculty Jobs. The site boasts over 1000 job listings from approximately 250 Christian Higher Education institutions. The site lists Christian faculty and professor positions, as well as many staff, administrative, and executive positions.

The site has been completely redone to utilize keyword searching to maximize search ability. Our team will continue to visit all Christian colleges, universities, and seminaries for new job postings. The work is tedious but the benefits are tremendous to the Christian community.

We're Coming Back...

First off, we wanted to apologize to all our loyal users for disappearing so abruptly. After operating for over 6 months, our site underwent major technical difficulties. The company hosting our servers underwent some serious problems and unfortunately our entire site including email stopped working. After several months of back and forth with them, we realized that we were not able to get back online within a reasonable amount of time.

Our team decided to use this time to rethink our value-add to the community, our core mission, and our business model.

First, we needed to really assess what value we bring to the Christian Higher Education community. We realized that Christian Faculty Jobs is a site that can provide simplicity and convenience to job seekers and the necessary market exposure needed by Christian Higher Education insitutions to recruit talented Christian faculty, staff, and executives.

Second, we decided to simplify our product and technology, and go back to the core of the business. Christian Faculty Job's core mission is two-fold:

We strive to provide quality, timely, and comprehensive information to job seekers regarding open Faculty, Staff, and Executive positions from Christian Higher Education institutions. We also equally strive to provide valuable market exposure to open positions on behalf of the Christian Higher Education community.

Finally, our business model needed to be re-evaluated. In today's Information era, we realize that the web community wants everything for FREE! And in following the trends of the market, we are making everything for FREE! Christian Faculty Jobs will be the foremost provider of FREE job listings for the Christian Higher Education community. We will be offering premium services to both the recruiter and to the job seekers in the near future.

We also definitely realized that we needed a better way to communicate to our user base. Our blog will be our primary means to communicate any news and major developments for Christian Faculty Jobs. In addition, the blog will be independently hosted from our site so in case of another technical difficulty, the blog will still be available.

Our official re-launch will occur late September to early October 2008. So stay tuned!
